Why Art History By Me?

I have been thinking about Art History by Me for years, I wanted to create a place for me to express my love for art history, but also a place to educate and entertain like-minded folks who are interested in beautiful things with fantastic stories. Art History By Me is for anyone interested in learning about the past through artworks that encapsulate its contemporary time.

Whether you learn about the weird anecdotal stories of an artist plagued by mental illness who chopped off part of his ear one night after being triggered by a fight he had with his best friend, or why a painting of the death of the Virgin Mary created a scandal amongst the Catholic Church during the 1600s, or why a painting of a black square is so important even though, you and a six-year-old think could have done it, Art History By Me has done its job, to teach you about the wonderful world of art.
